WHY IS SNR EVOLVING?

Because a strong brand needs to be clear, meaningful, and impactful. This evolution gives SNR a more defined positioning, a more modern expression and a clearer distinction from NTN. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Quick answers to the things you’re wondering

Does this evolution change SNR’s positioning?

No. It does not call into question the brand’s fundamentals. Its purpose is to express them more clearly, more consistently and more assertively across communication materials.

How is SNR now expressed across the different Business Units?

SNR is a cross-functional brand across all Business Units, both in its positioning, “Designed for the core and the unexpected”, and in its visual application. It adapts strategically to the specific challenges of each Business Unit, while relying on a shared visual identity framework that ensures a consistent SNR image in all contexts.

Is the logo changing?

The shape of the SNR logo is not changing. However, it is now available only in a monochrome version, either black or white, depending on the background on which it is placed. No other colour is permitted for the logo.

Why was coral added to SNR’s historical colours?

The combination of blue and yellow was becoming repetitive and limiting creative possibilities. Coral brings energy and dynamism to the palette. It is a third-level colour and should be used sparingly, as an accent rather than as a dominant colour.

Does the visual identity vary according to the Business Units or communication materials?

No. The SNR visual identity is based on a set of colours — black, white, blue, yellow, coral and grey — as well as two main shapes: the ellipse and the rectangle. These elements are applied consistently, regardless of the Business Unit or type of communication, in order to highlight the message as effectively as possible.

Is there any impact on NTN’s visual identity?

No. NTN’s visual identity remains unchanged. Communications relating to NTN Europe as a company continue to follow the NTN visual identity guidelines. The commercial brand also retains its own universe and colours.

What about communications featuring both NTN and SNR?

When a communication features both NTN and SNR products, NTN Europe is the entity speaking to present its products.

Can older communication materials still be used?

Older materials may still coexist during the transition period. Materials will be updated progressively over time. However, as soon as a new version becomes available, it must be used. Some highly visible brand materials, such as trade show assets, must no longer be used, so as not to blur the new SNR image. For all new material, usual communication contacts shoud be used.

Who should be contacted in case of doubt or for a new creation?

Employees should contact their designated Communication representative. They will be able to handle the request and propose a solution suited to the need.
